Latin Tunes in the Forest
I love Latin music. I can listen to - and watch - its magical, emotion-filled songs and dances for hours. There are countless styles within it, and I think everyone can find a branch of Latin music that appeals to them.
To whet your appetite, here is a video in which the guitarist plays some "Spanish-style melodies" - and plays them exceptionally well!

I have been listening to particularly large amounts of Latin music lately, so I felt like making a post about it as well. On Whit Monday I went walking through the green woods, saw a ukulele that wanted to make some noise, asked whether it was allowed to play - yes, it was - and so, to the great delight of the local insect community, I tried to bring a little Latin pulse into the forest with the help of four chords.
My recording does not come close to the "Spanish Guitar" video above - I could not do that on a ukulele... all right, not on a guitar either - but perhaps I can still demonstrate a few basic ideas:
