Lanikai FM-CET
The Lanikai FM-CET is made of flamed maple and is a truly eye-catching ukulele. I already introduced its smaller acoustic concert-size sibling, also made of flamed maple, back in December 2019. This, then, is the bigger brother, with a cutaway body and onboard electronics.
You get the excellent quality we have come to expect from Lanikai: the instrument is beautifully finished in every detail and feels silky-smooth in the hands. Its tone and volume are also exactly as they should be. This ukulele comes with a factory case and two strap buttons, so it can be used with a strap immediately. The owner asked that if I made a video about the instrument, I should also demonstrate the electronics in a little more detail. I was happy to oblige.
