In this blog post and video I would like to show you and teach you a ukulele accompaniment for the Slovak folk song beginning “Egy boszorka van...” (“There is a witch...”). I find it hard to imagine that anyone in Hungary does not know it . I loved it as a child, and now I very much enjoy singing it to my own children. I thought I would share its extremely simple chord progression with you and encourage you to learn it and add this sweet little song to your repertoire.

If you know the basic chords, it is no exaggeration to say that you can learn it in three minutes. And if you would like a little mental exercise, transpose it into any key you choose .

Enjoy the following video.
