If you happened to miss the blog post about B majorplease read it. At the beginning I summarize the basic things you need to know about barre chords, which I will not repeat here. The barre version of B7 differs from B major in that you do not need to place your ring finger on the fourth fret of the fourth string; only your middle finger goes on the third fret of the third string. And of course your index finger bars the second fret.

There is also a non-barre version of B7, which I show in the video as well. It is worth knowing both and even alternating between them within a song, which lets you add a little variety while staying on the same chord.
