Getting Ready for Ukulele Meetup II

Share E-mail Facebook Viber WhatsApp LinkedIn

In just under two weeks, on Wednesday, September 4, we will be holding Ukulele Meetup II, and we are excitedly preparing for it. We hope you are looking forward to it at least as much as we are. I am delighted to see the registrations coming in nicely . If you have not yet registered for the event, you can let us know that you would like to attend at workshop@ukulele.hu. When registering, please also tell us whether you will bring a ukulele and roughly what level you play at.

A few pieces of information about the meetup:

  • We are preparing a few small items that we would like to raffle among you, so a few lucky winners will go home with a little ukulele-themed surprise at the end of the event.
  • Zsolt will bring his material from June together with a few new additions. You will receive it in printed form at the beginning of the meetup.
  • At the workshop I will lead, alongside the new material we can also revisit the material from the June meetup . The downloadable PDF — which I have since expanded with chord diagrams for the sake of beginners — therefore contains only the June songs and chords. Let the new material remain a surprise; I will bring that in printed form too.
  • If anyone would like to join us on bass guitar or bass ukulele, please let me know at the email address above. A little low-end support would sound great on one or two songs.

If anyone knows a photographer who would be willing to photograph the event on a voluntary basis, we would be very grateful! As with the previous meetup, we would publish the pictures here on ukulele.hu and on Facebook.

EVERYONE IS VERY WELCOME!

And many thanks for this fantastic picture to one half of the ukulele duo called "Keskeny MeGálló" .
