Dear (Future) Ukulele Players!

Over the past few months a great many of you have asked about ukulele courses. I am happy to let you know that we will be holding two courses in the near future:

Ukulele Course I — Sunday, 6 February 2022, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Ukulele Course II — Sunday, 13 February 2022, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

If you are interested and would like to register, click the “Courses” menu item, where you can read all the information and submit your registration.

  • The course fee can still be paid with an OTP SZÉP card as well.
  • When entering the course venue, participants aged 18 or over must prove immunity against coronavirus with an official certificate or the relevant app. If you have already been vaccinated but do not yet have the physical certificate, you can also use the app (under the rules on proof of immunity against coronavirus inGovernment Decree 60/2021 (II. 12.)). Without proof, participation in the course is not permitted. I am continuously monitoring the relevant legal requirements.

Course venue:1051 Budapest, Arany János utca 10., the Aranytíz Cultural Centre, where we will meet on both occasions. This beautiful venue can be reached from Széchenyi tér by tram 2 or buses 16 and 105; from Széchenyi utca by buses 15 and 115; and it is only a few minutes' walk from the Arany János utca metro station. If you arrive by car, hopefully you will be able to find parking in one of the surrounding streets.

Course I and Course II can also be taken immediately one after the other. I would like to point out, however, that the material learned in Course I will not become fully internalised skill during the single week before Course II; it is not possible to bring the entire Course I material to an automatic level in seven days. Even so, the material of Course II can still be learned, and together the two courses provide so much information and content that you will have enough to practise for many months afterwards. Anyone wishing to attend both courses will receive a 10% discount on the fee for each course.

I look forward to your registrations, and if you have any questions beforehand, send me an email or contact me on Facebook.
