This Lanikai model number may be familiar to many people, since one of the most popular Lanikai soprano models is the LU-21, which I managed to photograph and write about during a very successful barbecue. I have also had the LU-21CE here, a concert-size electro-acoustic model. From that you can probably guess that the 21C is also a concert-size ukulele, but without electronics:

As with the other members of the LU series, there is not much more to say than that it is a very good beginner's instrument, especially for someone who finds a soprano too small. The body is mahogany, the fretboard is rosewood, it has geared tuning machines, and it comes from the factory with good-quality Aquila strings. You should not expect an especially distinctive sound or spectacular extras, but that is not what the manufacturer designed it for. Its purpose is to give a beginner a comfortable, manageable instrument without requiring a major financial investment - an instrument on which the basics, and quite a bit beyond the basics, can be learned. Let's hear how it sounds:

UPDATE (1 October 2020): This ukulele model has been discontinued. In its place we recommend the Lanikai MA-C as the successor to the LU-21C, which you can find in the webshop .
