Lanikai MA-T Tenor

Not long ago I wrote a blog post about the Lanikai MA-C concert-size ukulele, and I did not have to wait long before I could also try its tenor-size big brother and show it to you. The entry-level MA-T tenor, like the concert model, is made from laminated mahogany. In terms of quality and playing experience, I can literally repeat what I wrote about the concert-size MA-C: Lanikai pays attention to good quality and workmanship even in its entry-level models, and I experienced no problems with this tenor.

The beauty of this instrument also lies in its simplicity. Its appearance is clean and understated, the white binding gives the ukulele a clear outline, and the mahogany grain provides plenty to admire. Take a look:

Like its concert-size sibling, this model also comes from the factory with two strap buttons and a simple case. If you would like to begin your ukulele studies on a tenor, I can recommend this model very warmly.
