Millions of articles, books, films and other works have dealt with the story of the first Moon landing, but there is one interesting detail that I think many people do not know. A friend of mine, Marci, drew my attention to it - thanks again!

When the astronauts returned to Earth, they spent twenty-one days in quarantine aboard the USS Hornet so that, in the official wording, "lunar microbes would not infect humanity". During his time in quarantine, Neil Armstrong diligently played the ukulele.

The following photograph was taken by Don Blair on the day the astronauts returned.

According to the photographer, he was lucky to capture the image. He happened to catch these few moments through the glass completely by chance. When he had to leave the quarantine area, he walked a few steps and then turned back, but Armstrong was no longer there - so this was certainly not a posed photograph.

That may be an F major chord...

Neil Armstrong died in August this year. :((
