Dear (Future) Ukulele Players!

The dates of this year's first ukulele courses are now set, and I warmly welcome you:

Ukulele Course I – 5 March 2023 (Sunday), 9:00–16:00

Ukulele Course III – 19 March 2023 (Sunday), 9:00–16:00  APPLY

If you are interested in the courses and would like to apply, click the "Courses" menu item to read all the information and register there as well (or click the buttons above).

The course fee can still be paid with an OTP SZÉP card as well!

The course venue is:1056 Budapest, Irányi u. 3. The venue is near the foot of Erzsébet Bridge, and we will meet there on all three occasions. Parking in the area is free on Sundays. If you come by public transport, I can recommend tram 2 and numerous bus routes (5, 7, 110, 112, 178, etc.)—although I do not know which of these run at weekends—and both Ferenciek tere and Astoria metro stations are nearby.

Courses I, II and III can be taken directly one after another. I would like to point out that the one-week gaps between the courses are nowhere near enough for what you see and hear on each course to become genuine skill in such a short time. In other words, the material of neither Course I nor Course II can be brought up to skill level in a single week. My aim is for the material I demonstrate and teach on the courses to provide such a quantity and structure of information and content that you will have plenty to practise for many months—or even years—and will be able to continue progressing independently. If someone registers for at least two of the three March 2023 courses, they receive a 10% discount on the fee of both (or all three) courses! One further change is that unfortunately I have had to raise the course fee. This is the first increase since I began running courses, so there had been no price change since 2019. The participation fee is now HUF 20,000 without discounts.

I warmly welcome your applications, and if you have any questions beforehand, send me an email or contact me on Facebook!

Lanikai ZR-T

I recently had the chance to try a seriously impressive Lanikai: a beautiful tenor-size ukulele made of ziricote. The workmanship is excellent in every detail and the finish is immaculate. Even running you…
