Something Stupid
When most of us see the title, perhaps the Robbie Williams–Nicole Kidman version comes to mind. Yet we need to go back to 1967 to talk about the Sinatra version—and even that was not the original. Something Stupid originated with the duo Carson and Gaile, but the pairs mentioned above made it truly famous. In many places the title is written as “Somethin' Stupid”. I cannot settle that question, so I chose to write out the full word, and Wikipedia did not make me any wiser . This is not necessarily a beginner's piece even if you accompany it with a simple rhythm throughout. I recommend it to players who already change chords confidently and would like to expand their knowledge with one or two new shapes, because it includes several less common—but technically not difficult—special chords.
Under Downloads you can also find this song which is what I based my arrangement on.
