I think I may have to reconsider the idea that a soprano ukulele is not necessarily suitable for a man's hands. I found this unbelievably good video:

With some chords the number of left-hand fingertips per square centimetre reaches its absolute maximum. It takes incredible dexterity to make your hand jump accurately to the right place on a ukulele neck this tiny.

The player in the video is actually a member of the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, Will Grove-White, so he did not exactly start strumming yesterday. The video is titled "the world's smallest playable ukulele". There is a video of an even smaller ukulele, but that tiny micro-uke really cannot be played in any meaningful way:
