Report from the 11th ukulele course

As a continuation of last week's anniversary ukulele course , I held Course II today. During the morning we worked on rhythmic techniques and learned several new chords; in the afternoon we moved on to further chords, including barre shapes. We covered a dense and substantial amount of material. It looked as though I managed to give both the participants' fingers and their brains a proper workout , but everyone handled the “ordeal” fantastically .

I would also like to tell my students that what we discussed and played today was extensive and intensive, but all of it will serve as “fuel” for your practice over the coming months.

At the end of the course, thanks to D'Addario — one of the world's largest manufacturers of strings and accessories — we raffled off several ukulele accessories. A huge thank-you to D'Addario!
