Late-summer ukulele courses

Dear (Future) Ukulele Players!

Some of you could not attend the courses at the beginning of the summer, and several people also emailed to say they would like to come to the next one. I am delighted to announce two more ukulele courses at the very end of summer and the beginning of autumn:

Ukulele Course I — Sunday, 29 August 2021, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. (UPDATE: fully booked)

Ukulele Course II — Sunday, 5 September 2021, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

• The course fee can still be paid with an OTP SZÉP card as well.
• When entering the course venue, participants aged 18 or over must prove immunity against coronavirus with an official certificate or the relevant app. If you have already been vaccinated but do not yet have the physical certificate, you can also use the app (under the rules on proof of immunity against coronavirus inGovernment Decree 60/2021 (II. 12.)). Without proof, participation in the course is not permitted. I am continuously monitoring the relevant legal rules.

Course venue:1051 Budapest, Arany János utca 10., the Aranytíz Cultural Centre, where we will meet on both occasions. This beautiful venue can be reached from Széchenyi tér by tram 2 or buses 16 and 105; from Széchenyi utca by buses 15 and 115; and it is only a few minutes' walk from the Arany János utca metro station. If you arrive by car, hopefully you will be able to find parking in the surrounding streets.

Course I and Course II can also be taken immediately one after the other. I would like to point out, however, that the material learned in Course I will not become fully internalised skill during the single week before Course II; it is simply not possible to bring everything from Course I to an automatic level in seven days. Even so, the material of Course II can still be learned, and together the two courses provide so much information and content that you will have enough to practise for many months afterwards. Anyone wishing to attend both courses will receive a 10% discount on the fee for each course.

Meanwhile I am also organising the meetup at full speed, and hopefully we will be able to hold that at the end of the summer too.
