Facebook Live Sessions — When the Saints

According to our plans, we should already have held both a ukulele course and a meetup this year, but unfortunately the current public-health situation forced us to postpone these programs. I hope you are all well and managing to get through this more difficult period. Make plenty of music and sing often — it helps during days and weeks like these. I would like to contribute a little to that, so from time to time after "home office" I will go live and we can learn one or two songs together.

The first broadcast began at 6:30 p.m. on March 18, 2020, and we played When the Saints Go Marching In. Or rather, I played it and showed you my arrangement. I hope many of you liked it and managed to learn it too:

I was very pleased that the audience stayed steadily around 25 viewers throughout the half-hour broadcast . The feedback was positive, which also made me very happy and gave me a lot of energy for the second live session, which I will write a short blog post about soon.

If you would like to join the next live broadcast, you will be able to do so on the Ukulele Hungary Facebook page page. I cannot give an exact date and time yet, but there is a poll, which means you can write to us on Facebookto suggest which song we should arrange and learn next .
