Unlike usual, I can only report on last Sunday's ukulele course a few days late. You will soon see why.

We broke several records. First, this was the course with the highest number of loa ukuleles: I lent a total of six instruments to participants. The second record was that this was the best-documented course so far, because Csilla Vargajoined us. She attended Course I last year and experienced it not only as a ukulele player but also through the eyes of a photographer. She later contacted me and offered to come and photograph a course. She took professional photographs and also carried out serious post-processing, which certainly does not take two minutes. Her photos are now finished; I think they turned out extremely well and I am delighted to share them with you. And if anyone is looking for an event photographer, I can of course warmly recommend Csilla!

It was an honour that the course was attended by Klára Spilák an actress whom many of you may know primarily from her dubbing work (Sex and the City, Forrest Gump, etc.). In case you did not know, Klára recently received the Best Supporting Actress award at New York's The Short Film (SOFIE) Awards for her performance in the film Kimaradt körök. If you would like to see her, tune in to Duna TV at 9:00 p.m. on 11 February 2024, where she will appear in the romantic TV film Majdnem menyasszony. Klára is also Communications Director of the Red Nose Clowndoctors Foundation, an organization committed to the difficult and important mission of visiting sick children in hospitals. I wish Klára and the foundation's staff continued strength and perseverance in this beautiful and demanding work.

I had a wonderful time at the course! As always, I received a huge amount of energy from you, and I hope you, dear participants, enjoyed yourselves as well. I wish you diligent practice and lots of enjoyable playing. D'Addario continues to support my courses, for which I am very grateful, and thanks to them we were once again able to raffle a few ukulele accessories. Many thanks to them. And now for the pictures—I hope you like them!
